It started with Thade, who had a bad cough. Then the cough turned into an evil cold, which resulted in many nights of lost sleep for the household. Last night I was checking in on Thade, and refilling the vaporizer when I heard the same cough, this time out of Dylan. So it was another night of just about 4 hours of sleep, and now I’ve got two coughing kiddos today.
Both boys are miserable, but they are still little cuties even when they don’t feel so good.
Yes, they are cuties! We are so blessed, even when they are sick! Hope they feel better soon!
this sounds crazy but rub Vick’s vapor rub on the bopttoms of their feet at bedtime. Put their socks on and they cough is not as bad through the night. Our pharmacist told us that. I had some second thoughts, but after a start to a sleepless night, I tried it and it worked.

Thanks Marva! I’ll give the Vapor rub a try! I could use a long night’s sleep 🙂 Thade’s coughs seem to get worse as the night goes on, and last night I had him propped up in bed with plenty of pillows. He was mad at me though, he wasn’t comfy, but it did help his coughs a little.
Thanks Nana! I can’t wait to write a post saying that we are all better 😉 The kiddos are really feeling icky, but they are so quiet today (sore throats). I hope that everyone gets well soon 🙂

Thanks Ellie! The kiddos are still coughing today, but Thade is hopeful that he can go back to school tomorrow. He was really sad to miss last Friday, so he is pretty anxious to see his friends. I hope that you are having a great weekend 🙂
