The weather was absolutely amazing yesterday, and we needed to get out of the house. My hubby was planning to get out of work a little early, so I asked him if he would want to go to the park with the kiddos…
My pictures look a little chilly, but I promise it really was 65 degrees outside.
Both kiddos were thrilled with the trip to the park, they had a blast running around and playing on the swings. It is rare that we are at the park in January, so we’ll be thankful for the good weather.
That’s great! I know they had fun. It was suppose to be 60 here yesterday and it only hit 55 with strong winds….burrrrr!

We are happy that it’s 41 today! That’s all the warmer it’s getting here, back to cold temps tomorrow! Brrr

Thanks Marva! I hope the weather stays nice for you, and those strong winds stay away. We’ve had some bad winds lately too, and they blew the guttering off the front of the house… One more thing to repair 😉
The kiddos had so much fun at the park,and I was very grateful for the nice weather. It is rare that we are out without big snow coats in January 🙂
Thanks Heather! Sorry to hear that the chilly weather is making a return… I hope that warmer weather returns soon. We have cooler temps today too (40s), but no ice, thank goodness.
It is slow going getting everything ready for James convention… Today I picked up all of (hopefully) the travel sized items, and I’ve picked out a few outfits for him to pack too. I think we will start the packing tonight, and hopefully have everything ready to go for Sunday. Wish me luck 🙂 This is going to be a long weekend…
