As Thade was leaving preschool today, his best friend’s Mom asked if we were planning on going to the park this afternoon… I thought that sounded like a great idea, and the weather was perfect for the kiddos to spend an afternoon out of the house. We decided to meet after lunch, and Thade and Dylan couldn’t wait to go!
All of the boys had a blast playing in the park and enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. Dylan was a little tired after spending the afternoon at the park, so I bet he takes an extra long nap today.

I hope he took a long nap! The boys and I had a really long, stresful week this week with baby teething and Jake asserting himself. Plus they kept waking each other up while napping. Seemed like this momma couldn’t get a break! Today I treated myself and took the boys for a car ride up to my mom’s. Between her and my grandma they got tons of attention and I got to chill out some on the couch and catch an episode of “John & Kate”. Here’s to a better week next week. I think Jake was also having a hard transition back to just mommy- while being away to in-laws for 5 days where everyone doted on him and gave him presents like every day!!!
I loved all your entries, you were one typing machine! Super happy to hear you have your car back and bill wasn’t too bad! Have a great weekend- we have a HUGE State Farm show starting tomorrow and thru the week not too far away. Hoping to take boys and enjoy ourselves one morning.
Thanks Marva! We had 2 days where the weather was just great, and now it is back to cold. Thade had a lot of fun getting to go to the park with his best preschool friend. I hope that the nice weather makes a return soon.
