A certain kiddo is turning five this month, and I have no idea what to do for his birthday party!!!
I’ve got a list of places to call for prices, but I’m leaning more towards throwing a big party at home. I’ve also signed up to be Room Mom this month at Preschool, and party day is on the 30th. It looks like I’m going to be prepping for two parties this month.
I hope to come up with some good ideas soon, the month is already getting away from me.
I’ll brainstorm Thade party ideas! What does he like? Family Fun always has some neat b-day ckes and themes in their mags.
Thanks Heather! Thade loves Spider-man, Iron Man, Transformers, and NASCAR. I just don’t know what to do, locally we don’t have too many places to hold a kids party, but I don’t know if I could get the house ready to hold a party here… what to do?!?

I forgot to tell you durring the meeting last week, but if you need help with cake ideas I have pleanty. I have a spider man cake pan that I used for Liam’s birthday a couple years ago if you need to borrow it. It is a little far away for you, but Arma has a community center they rent out fairly cheep. I haven’t seen it but it might be worth looking into.

Are you inviting his school buddies or is it just a family party? My boys are still so young we just do family parties. I started having them at my brother’s place b/c it’s more convenient for family and more room for everyone to hang out. Speaking of parties, my baby turns 1 at the end of Feb!!! Can’t believe it- better start gathering supplies myself. Although I keep it very simple for their first b-day. We have a local market here that gives you a whole sheet cake FREE for their first b-day- I almost forgot. Thanks for making me think of it.
Thanks Heather! Wow your little guy is growing up so fast. I was thinking about picking up supplies for Dylan’s Birthday (March) too.
I think we will invite a few school friends and family will be there too. James wants to have the party at McDonalds, but I don’t know if the grown-ups would have fun at that one 😉 If we have it at home, we can invite the parents too. I just don’t know what to do…
