Today we are back to the everyday morning routine, and Thade is very ready to get back to preschool. Both of the boys were wide awake and ready to go at 6:45 a.m. Dylan and I will be busy running errands while Thade is having fun at his schools belated Christmas party. Today we’ll also be taking James lunch at work. It looks like it is going to be a busy Monday!

Hi Nicole! Yes my kids are finally going back to school today after a 3 week vacation! I was telling Mimi last night that they have been off for 3 weeks due to a horrible snowstorm in our area. Then, last night it started snowing again! Thankfully it rained last night and it is all gone now and we will be back to normal (I hope). Have a great day 😉 Ellie

NIco- we returned home last night from our mini vacation to the in-laws. Overall nice trip, some family drama- but not too bad. I got to go shopping a couple times alone which is always nice. Jake is going through Grandma withdraw today, poor kid. And all of us have head colds, so I am taking the boys to the ped. dr this afternoon to check their ears. And assure me the baby is fine. He is major teething so I’m sure that has alot to do with his cough, running nose,and night awakenings. but still- feels good to be reassured. OH- baby which just turned 10 months is full crawling now! I forgot so quick how much trouble that causes! There’s no stopping him now!
Dr. gave us the ok. a viral cold we are all sharing. supposed to come back if baby is not better by end of week. I’m with you on the restocking of everything. I went to Walmart and local grocer’s tonight for a bunch of items. Planning weekly meals sure does save money!

I need to make a big Aldi run, and stock up the pantry. A few weeks at home, and we ran out of everything. Great job getting all of your planning and shopping done.
