Wow Winter made an appearance last night, we had freezing temps and cold blustery winds. It looks like it will be another chilly day today, but that makes for a great day to stay indoors and finally get those Christmas cookies baked. I hope that you are staying nice and warm, and enjoying the first day of Winter too!

Well it is certainly winter around my neck of the woods! We have been under an artic freeze for the last week. My kids are out of snow days on top of that. They are getting a 3 week Christmas vacation too. We usually get a little bit of snow/ice once or twice a season but it only lasts a day or two. We have about a half a foot right now. Very unusual! We all have a bit of cabin feever so we are going to attempt to go see a movie in a bit just to get out….enjoy your baking day 🙂 Ellie

The ice has melted here, but the cold winds are back, so we are staying in. My kiddos have cabin fever too, I’m trying to keep them busy in the kitchen helping me, but they really want to get out of the house. Sending warm hugs your way 🙂
