The First Snow

It is snowing here today, and Thade is thrilled. He loves the snow.

We have just a little snow, but I think it totally counts as the first snow of the season.

Tonight we are going to the Holiday Parade at 6:00 p.m., and it looks like it is going to be really really cold. This is one of my favorite parades. All of the Floats have Christmas Lights and many of the businesses and area Churches will be serving Hot Chocolate to keep everybody warm. Thade can’t wait to see Santa, and I can’t wait to get a few pictures of the merriment.

  2. Thanks Marva! Wow, that is crazy that you are going to get snow too 🙂 I bet your boys will have a lot of fun getting to play in the snow though.

    Thade is really excited about the parade, but it is going to be really cold. I think it is going to drop off to 20 tonight, so I had better bring along some Hot Coffee to stay warm 🙂

  4. Aw man, we had snow for like 5 minutes last week and then it was gone. I think we’ll get some in the next few days, though…hope it stays, everything here is so brown and nasty looking. Doesn’t feel like Christmas at all!

  6. Thanks Susan! Our snow just lasted a tiny bit, but Thade was really excited about it. I hope you get some pretty snow soon 🙂 We are all hoping for a White Christmas this year, so we’ll see 🙂
