Yesterday while Thade was in school, I cleaned as fast as I could. Today both boy’s are home so I don’t know just how much I’ll actually get accomplished. I’m focusing on the Kitchen and the Upstairs Bathroom today, and I’ve armed the kiddos with distractions!
While I was washing dishes, and Thade was chatting my ear off about Christmas Presents, I asked “who wants to help with the dusting?” Both kiddos happily replied “ME!” So I looked under the sink and found 2 Swiffer Dusters and told the kiddos to “get busy dusting the house.”
Both boys tore through the house dusting everything in sight, and they were having a great time too. I really appreciate the help and I know they were both proud of all of their hard work.
Back to it, the messy kitchen is waiting.
That is a great way to get it clean! I love to give the boys damp rags and let them clean. Happy Thanksgiving!

Never thought of that! Good thinking! The boys and I made our trip to the Science Center today. What fun! I loved having a little helper. What a difference an extra hand(s) makes! Now to get them to nap, they both fell asleep in the car. always tough to re nap!!

The kiddos had so much fun helping Mommy clean today, and it kept them pretty busy too. I’m trying to clean 2-3 rooms a day until Thanksgiving, but I’m doing pretty good so far.
Thanks Heather! I’m so happy that you and the kiddos got to go to the Science Center! Did Jake have a good time? I agree it is always nice to have a little extra help, especially on outings. I hope your boys get a good nap today. I’ve been cleaning as fast as I can while Dylan takes his one any only nap 😉
Jake had a blast!! My afternoon was shot though, I was not able to get him back to sleep. He did supervise while I vaccumed!

Thats a bummer about the naps, my kids are the same way… Dylan will only take one nap a day, and that is about the only time that I get anything done 😉
YOu are sweet! I am so stressed out today. I have to pack the entire family for our trip for T-giving. to hubby’s family about 6 hours away. My mom and brother are coming over to help with the kids for an hour or two. I hope that works out, sometimes having people over can be more work for me. he he
