October Coupon Savings

Well I didn’t do quite as well as I had in September, but I did have $3.00 in coupon savings for October. That brings my year to date total to $174.04, not too shabby…

How were your coupon savings for October?

  1. I don’t keep track of the savings. I should. I’m lucky if I remember to write down my receipts in the checkbook! Got a C- on my bookkeeping skills last month! So I’m back to handwriting checks- there is something actually writing the amount out and handing it over to the cashier that makes me more aware of my spending.
speaking of savings, I’ve been meaning to ask you if you would keep an eye out in the ads for Beechnut baby food coupons. They just had a great one in for 1/50 off 8 jars. Thanks!

  2. Thanks Heather! Wow great find on Baby Food! I’ll watch the Dillon’s and Ralph’s ads, I think they both carry Beechnut Baby Foods.

I’m bad about keeping up with writing everything down too. I try to balance and play bills catch up on Monday’s and then I dread Monday’s 😉

I’ve noticed that my coupon savings have really changed. I purchase more store brands than anything, and there isn’t usually a coupon for those. I do use coupons on Diapers though 🙂

  3. Great- I’ll send some Huggies your way soon. I agree, I don’t use as many coupons as I did. When I do find a useful one, I try to collect as many as I can of those and stockpile the item. I’ve been happy with Target brands for diff uses(Maxi pads, trash bags, fabric softner sheets to name a few). Last night I bought the Dollar General brand for Fabreeze, I hope it works well! That will be a huge savings!!

  4. Thanks Heather! I’ve been really pleased with the Dollar General brands, and the savings too 🙂 I love Target for stockpiling, they always have some pretty cool finds. Thanks in advance for the Huggies coupons 🙂 Big hugs!
