Yesterday Nana (my mom) was coming to visit. I had thought that it might be fun to go to the Park and have a picnic. It ended up being way too warm yesterday, so we opted for an Indoor-Picnic. We had a fun time, and the kids stayed nice and cool too.
I served PB&J’s on Homemade Bread, Chips & Dip, a little Veggie tray, and Chocolate Drop Cookies. I think the boy’s liked the Cookies the best.
Nana also brought a few surprises too, new school clothes for Thade and a few cute tops for me too. She also restocked all of the paper goods and brought me 24 lbs of Flour and 2 lbs of Yeast!! I was so thrilled and now I’ll never be short on baking supplies. Thanks again for everything Nana!
In the afternoon we went and visited my hubby at work, and we brought along Sonic drinks. It was still so warm outside, so we all appreciated the cool treats.
When James came home I continued the Indoor-Picnic theme, and made a mini-indoor BBQ. We had Angus Burgers and Tater Tots along with a few Chocolate Drop Cookies. All in all it was a very fun and relaxing Labor Day!

Sounds like you had a great day! What a sweet mama you have 🙂 Ellie
Thanks Nana! We all had such a fun day, and both boys are missing their Nana like crazy today! Thanks again for coming up to visit us, and we can’t wait for Grandparent’s day 🙂 Big hugs!
Thanks Ellie! It was a fun and relaxing day! I have to agree with you too, my Mama is one sweet lady! I hope that you and your family had a great Labor Day too 🙂
