Let’s Go To The Park

Thanks to the warmer Summer weather, and Thade’s Day Camp we are at the park all the time. Last week was Dylan’s first time on the swings, and he wasn’t the biggest fan, but we’ll try again another time. Thade would live at the park if we would let him. He loves to play on the swings, and slide on the slides. I love looking at all of the wild flowers, and seeing the ducks and geese, they are too cute.

Do you have a favorite park or park activity?

  1. Hi Nicole,
I was catching up on your posts, we were outside most of the weekend. Our little town had a festival Fri and Sat. It is right on our street! Basic small town fun, petting zoo, yummy homemade pies by those fantastic little old ladies, and oddly enough some tai food(sets up from bigger town nearby). Fun day and mostly free!
Very excited for your garden to grow- keep us up to date! hugs, Heather

  2. Thanks Nana! Hanging out at Big Spring Park is one of my favorite memories, we always had fun! Thade is loving all of the Summer activities, and this is the last week for both of them. I don’t know what we are going to do next week!?!

  3. Thanks Heather! It sounds like you had a fun weekend with a cool festival too! I bet the homemade pies were so tasty. That is so cool that the festival was right on your street too!

I’m happy to see the garden growing too, and I just hope to get some veggies out of it 🙂 Thade is having fun watching the plants grow too. Sending big hugs your way!

  4. We love the park too! I so wish I had more time in the summer to enjoy those kind of things with the boys. So is the life of a farm girl! Plenty of time this Fall……and it will be cooler too.;)

The pictures are great! They are getting so big. i am glad you liked the shirts for Dylan.

    Blessings!!!

  5. Thanks Marva! I like the park better in the Fall, the trees are so pretty then. It sounds like you have a very busy Summer ahead of you.

Thanks again for all of the new clothes for Dylan, the overalls are just so cute, and I loved all of the shirts. Both boys are getting big, and now that Dylan is up and walking, it is getting pretty crazy around here 😉 Sending great big hugs your way!

  6. Wow- hard to believe your little boy is walking! My hubby keeps teasing me that this C-mas our baby will be crawling. I just want to keep him a baby forever! Heather

  7. Thanks Heather! I feel the same way… I’m so happy that Dylan is up and walking, but at the same time I’m a little sad that my baby is growing up so fast.
