This project started quite awhile ago.
The clouds grew dark, and the hailstones fell fast. They crashed into our town breaking windows, smashing siding, and leaving a lot to be repaired.
Our little house was a mess.
We had damage to our windows, roof, siding, fence, garage, you name it a hailstone smashed it.
Our roof was repaired quickly, and then we were waiting on siding. We debated colors, made plan after plan, checked bid after bid, and finally we were ready to get going on the project.
The old siding was removed, and the house was ready for a new look.
I ventured outside a few times to see how the project was coming along.
I was so pleased, the crew was doing an amazing job, and our home was coming together beautifully.
The crew replaced one exterior section at a time, and the new siding was coming along quickly.
Yesterday the last piece of siding went up, and our new old house was complete.
I am overjoyed with the finished project!
I really appreciate all of the hard work, and eye for detail that the crew delivered. They gave us a home that looks like our home, and I am really proud of it.
Home sweet home!
Our little old home is shining in her new grey siding.

It looks like a whole new house! Really, like someone else suggested (Facebook? Instagram?) You need to crochet some fun, giant cushions for that bench. Maybe Fentex? Like fortrel pants, but in crochet form lol. It would be so beautiful, and so ‘you’ 🙂
My bad. PHENTEX is how it’s spelled lol.
Thanks Nana! It has been a fun project, and I love the end results. The crew that worked on the house was awesome! They did a fantastic job, and we were right on track with the ‘ol budget.
Thanks Susan! I am going to have to check out Phentex, I think some crocheted cushions would be super cute too. I really love how the house turned out. It really looks completely different, and I love it. The crew that did the job was fantastic.
