Trying Not To Complain, But…

I’m trying really hard to bite my tongue, and not complain, but the price of gas is getting OUT OF CONTROL!!! On Sunday Unleaded was at $3.59, yesterday when we ran errands it was $3.69, and today $3.79! That is just too high. Diesel was $4.44 yesterday, I have no idea what it is today, but I know there is going to be another price increase at the grocery stores… GRRRR I’m one Grumpy Nico about all of these prices.

So please VENT away and let me know how the gas prices are in your area 🙂 I’m hear to listen and complain a bit too…

  1. we are up to 3.70 something too! I have been staying home anyway with the baby, so that is helping us money wise. But trips to Nana’s are super expensive(lives hour away). And anyone travleing for Memorial Day? We have to use our economic stimulus for the gas to visit my hubby’s family! Now that is depressing, and something to b*tch about! -heather

  2. We are up in the $3.70’s too…highest I’ve seen it is $3.79. We are now entering summer basketball and soccer tournament season so it means LOTS of driving……and usually across or out of town…..I’m with you….grrrrrumpy! 🙂 Ellie

  3. $3.79 in our town for gas and $4.49 for diesel. I saw it for (gas) $3.84 in the big city today. Ouch!!!!!!

  5. Thanks Heather! I’m so sorry to hear that gas prices are on the rise in your neighborhood too. What a bummer that the your stimulus check is going right to the gas tank. I hope that you have a nice trip though 😉

    I think we’ll be staying home for Memorial Day weekend.I just hope that the gas prices don’t get too much higher!

  7. Thanks Marva! Ouch those are some high prices, the Diesel price really has me worried. That means those grocery prices will be on the rise too. I’m one stressed out girl.

  10. OK, I’m trying to do the math here: if my google skills haven’t failed me, a litre of gas in Edmonton, Alberta is equivalent to $4.73 in American gallons. We have the lowest price in the country as most Canadian fuel is produced in Alberta. Supposedly it’s going up today…I guess we’ll be staying in for a while. We’ve already cancelled our summer travel plans, just too expensive.

  11. Thanks Susan! Wow those are some pricey prices, and I’m so sorry to hear that they are on the rise again. Next weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, and I bet we’ll see prices hit $4.00… I’m thinking about investing in a bike 😉
