Hubby came up with that title, I love it. I’ve been a little worried about the rising grocery prices, so I’m revisiting to a few of the old “inexpensive” recipes that I used to enjoy. I’m hoping my Ramen Revolution will save just a little bit more on the grocery budget.
Who doesn’t love Ramen Noodles? Probably a lot of people aren’t the biggest fan of this frugal treat, me I love Ramen. You can pick them up in a 6-pack for $1.00Â just about everywhere, and with a few tasty additions, those little noodles can be delicious.
So we’ll start at the top left and move to the right, and I’ll tell you about a few of Nico’s Favorite Ramen dishes:
- If you have a few Cru-de-te veggies hanging out in the Fridge they make a tasty addition any flavor Ramen Noodles
- I’ve used Celery, Garlic Salt, Onion Powder, and Soy Sauce, along with a Packet of Beef Ramen Noodles for a fast lunch
- Chicken Ramen Noodles are one of my favorite leftover magnets. I’ve added in BBQ Chicken, Frozen Corn, Garlic Salt, Poultry Seasoning to one Packet of Chicken Ramen Noodles for this super tasty dish
- Next up is a Hearty Home-cooked dish of Beef Ramen Noodles with Pot Roast and Frozen Peas, just add a little Pepper and Garlic Salt, and enjoy
- Lastly a favorite Spring-time Ramen dish of Chicken Ramen Noodles with Turkey, and Frozen Broccoli, so good

Oh my gosh, Kylie’s absolute favourite food is raman…I buy a big case for her and it’s gone in no time LOL. She makes it for her lunches…she makes it when her friends sleep over…your pics make them look so yummy.
Great job Nicole! And way to be creative!! Ellie
Thanks Marva! They are some pretty tasty dishes, and James had me cracking up with that title 😉
Thanks Susan! I’m a big fan of the Ramen too, Kylie has great taste 😉 I love the Cheddar Cheese Ramen Noodles (in a cup), but they are sometimes a little tough to find, they are so tasty though.
Thanks Ellie! I love to use Ramen Noodles with leftovers, they make a tasty and filling meal 😉
Heehee.I made ramen noodles yesterday after I realized my original plans did not work out. I made a strange mexican combo with half a taco seasoning packet, less water, ham, black beans, corn, cilantro and some hot sauce and everybody loved it. I was sure they would pass it up.LOL
Thanks Maggie! That sounds pretty tasty! I’ll have to try out your Ramen Noodle recipe too, thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks Nana! Next time you visit, I’ll make sure and make an extra yummy lunch for you 😉
My hubby could live on ramen noodles. It’s his favorite food. It seems strange to me, but he loves the stuff. Here they have gone up in price to 25 cents each or 20 cents on sale. No more 6 packs for 99 cents, and a case of 24 is regular priced at 7.25. Sale price will probably be 5.00. I like to add dumplings to our ramen noodles once in awhile, the kis love it. Another way to spice it up is to make Ramen Thai noodles, just drain the noodles and add some peanut butter and a few spoons of apple juice and throw some nuts on top. DD is allergic to peanuts, so I use almond butter for hers.
Enjoy your ramen, chicken is our favorite flavor here!
Thanks Mimi! I’m the same way, I could live on Ramen 😉 I’ll have to try the Ramen Thai Noodles, they sound delicious!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe 😉
