54 and Snow

Today the weather read 54 degrees and Snow, I kid you not. At 7:30 a.m. it was nice and warm, and by 9:00 a.m., it had already dropped to below 40. At Noon the snow started, and it looks like it is here to stay for quite a while too. Thade is thrilled though, he loves the snow 😉 I’m not so excited about the snow, its just too darn cold.

  1. We had snow yesterday here…….they cancelled school in our district (we had about 3 to 4 inches)…..and a couple of hours later it was ALL GONE! At first they were going to have a 2 hour late start and then changed their minds….in our area, people freak out when it snows….it’s a big deal since we don’t get a ton of it…..I don’t mind snow but when there is freezing rain forget it….I’m not going anywhere…..it sure is pretty though 🙂 Ellie

  2. Thanks Ellie! Wow that sounds like a lot of snow 🙂 I don’t like the freezing rain either, and I’m the world’s worst snow driver. If I hear that snow is anywhere near us, I make a mad dash to the grocery store and stock up, so I don’t have to leave the house. I hope that you are staying warm, and enjoying some yummy hot chocolate 🙂

  3. I am so happy that I don’t have snow to worry about. The rain here has been bad enough. You guys stay warm and bundle Thade up. Let him play in the snow.Ibet he can make some fantastic snow balls.

  4. I’m glad to hear your little man is enjoying the snow. I hope they’re getting the chance to make some cool snow forts or snowmen before the snow melts. It hit -56C here with the windchill the other day, I think that’s about -68F for you.

  6. Thanks Mimi! I hope that your weather is better, too much rain is never good. Thade loves to play in the snow, and he is getting way too good at launching those snow balls at mommy 😉

    Thade loves the snow, and he was thrilled to see it snow on his b-day. I think we are all going to have to love the snow, they are calling for 4-6 inches over the next 2 days…
