Staying in

Well like most of the world we are staying in… So far our county is covid-19 free, but everything around us is starting to close. The kids are on Spring Break this week, and the school district is holding a meeting on the 18th to discuss what’s next.

I’m a little nervous about the possibility of school closures, but the kids are on board. We’ll see what Wednesday brings.

So far we are good on supplies. Whenever it is flu season I try to keep extra paper goods on hand, so I wasn’t too surprised by the run on the grocery store. I am a little worried about the restaurants starting to close, my kiddos love take-out, and I’m partial to a break from the kitchen.

We’ll sit tight though, and hope that everyone stays safe and healthy. How are you spending your extra time at home?

March is the new December

Honestly ever since last December happened, I have had way too much going on… I really don’t like it either.

I am hoping that Agnes and I are finally over this awful flu bug, and just in time to cover hospitality for this weekend’s Forensics Tournament at Thade’s school. I’ll be baking and cooking, and then hosting tomorrow, and all day Saturday too.

Next week is three day of of parent-teacher conferences, and I’m school sponsor for Agnes’ school on an upcoming class trip. Friday school is out, and then Spring Break begins.

After Spring Break, Dylan turns 13!!!! And poof, another month is done.
