Yard Sale On Our Block

Every year I’ve been here I spot the signs a little too late. This year I finally made it to the mega sale at St. Mary’s. It was a little walk for me and the kiddos, and I came home with a few cool finds too.

Thade said,”mom you are buying more bowls”, they were great prices though, and I couldn’t pass them up.

The little green bowl was for $.50, and the Corning Ware set was for $1.00 per piece.The Corning Ware bowls are perfect dishes for Taco Night. All the little bows hold all of the ingredients, and look cute too.

I Give Up! For Real This Time

Well this is where my Asparagus root used to be…

I had ten roots planted, and Mia has dug up and destroyed all but three…

I also had a blueberry bush that was showing some promise, and even had a few berries. Mia systematically chewed off all the branches, and then dug up the roots, and ate them too…

Ugh, so frustrating!

Mr. Yellow Tip Belt

Dylan really enjoys Tae Kwon Do. He has been working extra hard to test for a new belt. Last Monday his name was called, and he was ready to test.

He did his form well. Thade was called to do the one steps with Dylan.

Dylan was all smiles when he was awarded his Yellow Tip.

A Minor Hiccup

Last Monday, I did a Windows update on my trusty laptop, and sadly it died… We tried for an entire week to work on it, and bring it back, but it just wouldn’t cooperate.

James surprised me this weekend with a new setup!

He got me a new Sony Vaio, and he got an amazing deal on it. I still can’t believe that he got it for me, but I am really thankful for it. Yeah, my hubby is super awesome!

I’ll be spending the next few days getting used to the new laptop, but so far I am loving it!
