The last few days have really felt like Autumn.

The Summer garden has grown it’s last crop of Okra.

I’m so ready for Autumn to officially arrive…

I’m so ready for Autumn to officially arrive…

I have a lot of cooking to do in September, but I thought I would share some of the goodies from August.

Chocolate Marshmallow Haystacks

Texas Sheet Cake, this dish was a big hit with my family.

I made goodies for a baby shower. Pink and Blue Mints.

Homemade Vanilla Cakes and Homemade Butter-cream frosting.

I had a few cupcakes left for the kiddos too.

My big kid is keeping busy in school. He has homework everyday, and reading to do most nights too. He is really enjoying first grade so far, but trust me this big kid is looking forward to the long weekend.

The little guy is ready for Football to come back already! He also starts pre-school next week. He is a little excited, but a little nervous too. I know he will do great though.

The Little Miss is crawling, sitting, and getting into everything in sight. She is one busy gal.
My oh my where did August go! School is in full swing, and this month Dylan starts pre-school too, MOPS is gearing up for the new year, and I need some easy meals. I’m sticking with one night of take-out a week, that way I can catch up on all the dishes. So here we go, it’s September’s monthly dinner menu.
Shhh, don’t tell… I’m trying to sneak in a few new recipes this month too. I wonder if my family will like them…
