This sucks… I was hoping that after a long night of sleep I would wake up refreshed and renewed, but no, I’m still sick. My tonsils are huge, and I think I can hear out of 1/2 of my ear, which I guess is good because Dylan is feeling good and screaming his happy screams today.

Thade still has a horrible cough, and he was mad at me this morning because I told him it was Saturday and not Sunday. I love debating the days of the week with my 4 year old.

James is also doing much better, thank goodness. Now if Nico can just get back to better, we’ll be all set.

Yesterday evening I started to feel a bit wonky. I gave the kids their bathes, and put them to bed a little bit early. By 9:00 p.m., I was miserable… I was freezing cold, but my eyes burned thanks to a high fever, my stomach was a wreck, and all I could hope for was sleep.

At 10:30 p.m. Dylan was up and crying, so James went in to get him back to sleep. At 11:00 p.m., Dylan was up and miserable, so I stumbled in to the boy’s room, and tried to get Dylan back to sleep. This continued on every 15-30 minutes until 4:30 a.m., when I finally gave up. I was so sick, I couldn’t even pick Dylan up.

Finally at 5:30 a.m. he was asleep, and I was up with Thade at 7:00 a.m. I still feel awful, but the boy’s are both doing well. I’m worried about my hubby though, he wasn’t feeling too good at lunch today. If I can muster up the strength, I need to get to the store and get Flu supplies, but I don’t think that it is going to happen. It looks like the Flu season made an early arrival to our house, grrrr.
