Super Saturday

I have been up since 6:30 this morning. Our landlady is showing our home today, so I had lots to get ready. We have one more showing this evening, so I’ll have to clean up all over again. Thade and I went to the store today too, and now I am so tired. It is such a workout pushing a very full cart, and chasing after him. He was really good today, until checkout. He was a little impatient, and loud, but what can you do. It was a really long wait.

We went and visited my mom yesterday, we ran some errands, and shopped a little too.
She was happy to see Thade, and he had a great time. I guess I should get back to work, and figure out what to make for dinner too. Happy Easter to all!

One more item checked off the list

We should have the appraisal on the new house tomorrow, and that should be the last thing that needs to be done before we can close. I’m so excited, and anxious to move! It is still almost three weeks before we will be in the new home, and it is driving me crazy. I haven’t started packing yet, and I know that I need to. I don’t like to pack, I often worry that I will need something that I have already packed. Hopefully the time will pass quickly, it is really hard to wait.

Home Again

We are back from vacation, and we all had a great time. Thade behaved surprisingly well, and he loved staying in a hotel. The hotel we stayed at had a waffle bar, and Thade was happy that they had toast. We got to do some sightseeing, and visited the zoo. James and Thade got to feed a giraffe, it was so amazing. We toured one of my favorite caves, and got in a little shopping too. I had plenty of Starbucks, and we got to see one of my favorite racers stock car. It was a great trip, and I think that we are going to plan a few more. We got in some great family time, and we all got to relax a little too.

Vacation

Tomorrow we leave for a mini-vacay. My hubby has a business meeting on Friday, and Thade and I are tagging along. This will be Thade’s first vacation, and hotel stay. I hope that he has fun, and behaves too. We are planning on taking him to the zoo if the weather cooperates. I’m just happy to get in a little break away from the house. We have a long drive ahead of us, but I’m totally packed and well prepared with cookies and juice boxes. I’m off for a few days, to rest, relax, and eat some yummy take-out!
