All the Dirty Laundry
I have no idea how this happens, but somehow the dirty laundry has piled up (again). I think I’ve got about 5 loads to do, and I need to wash the kiddos bedding too. Looks like it is going to be laundry day at Nico’s house today.Oh yeah, dishes too, as soon as Dylan takes a much needed nap.

With just a few weeks before Preschool starts I’m working on a To Do list for Thade and me too. We have a few things that need to get done, and a few fun things planned too. Here is what I hope to get accomplished before the first day of school.
- James and I are going school supply shopping with both of the kids
- Take a few “nature walks” to gather items for Show and Tell (everyday at school)
- Give Thade a hair cut, maybe Dylan too
- Get our “get out of the door on time” routine down. I’m so not a morning person, and Thade’s school starts at 8:15 a.m. (I think this one is a Mommy To Do)
- Have the freezer and pantry stocked with easy Breakfast Items (Mom To Do)
- Visit the park and look for Feathers at the Bird Exhibit
- Take a mini-vacation with the Kids, and get plenty of pictures
- Make a Leaf-book with Summer leaves for Thade, and one for Fall too
- Start a Binder for Thade’s Art Projects
I’m sure we’ll have more items to add to the list before school begins, I just hope that we can get it all done.

This month quickly became the month of way too much to do with one stressed out Mommy trying to make sure everyone is at the right place at the right time.
I tried to simplify all of Thade’s activities by using stickers. He can look at the calendar and see if there is just one sticker, only one event for the day, most days there are two to three stickers ; ) I also plan my errands for the time that Thade is at an activity. I can get those little errands finished quickly with a limited amount of time
In the next week Thade starts Craft Camp which is daily, he is also still going to Day Camp (3 days) and T-Ball too. It is going to be one busy week, and I’m already looking forward to July… So far we have nothing planned for the entire month : )

Today I’m getting the house ready for company tomorrow. I’ll be serving a “Thanks For Moms” Mother’s Day dinner. We are having Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Stuffing, Chocolate Pie, and Homemade Apricot Pie, kinda like Thanksgiving in May 
I’m going to get a jump start on the pies today, and spend the rest of the day cleaning up around the house. Here is the plan for today:
- Clean Both Bathrooms
- Bring Trash Cans to the Yard, and empty all Trash Cans around the house
- Put away 5 loads of laundry
- Wash all of the dishes hanging out in the kitchen
- Make Both Pies
- Clean the Dining Room
- Wrap the Mother’s Day Gifts
The weather looks like it is going to be extra rainy today, so I hope to get all of the chores accomplished. We’ll see how it goes, I’m having way too much fun playing on my new laptop
