Midland Adventure
I should probably just move to Kansas City already. It seems to be my second home this Summer.

My best buddy Stacey-cakes and I had a super exciting adventure!

We ventured up to Kansas City, no kiddos, no husbands, just us girls.

Oh yes! We were there to see Adam Lambert!!!!!

We walked around the building to snap some pictures of the tour bus.

There were lines wrapped around the building, but it was so worth it.

Allison Iraheta was the opening act.

She was pretty awesome too!

We were all waiting for Adam though…

Adam took the stage, and the whole place went crazy!

It was such an amazing show!

I had a great time hanging out with my best buddy Stacey too.

We heard so many of our favorite songs.

and I might have danced my butt off, just a bit too.

It was such a fun night!

Once the show was over, we headed back home. It’s always hard for me to leave Kansas City…

Wonder what we will do for our next girl’s night…

Walking Shoes and Fire Trucks
Wow, this is one crazy month. The days are filled, and the weekends are too. Today we had a Walk KS kick-off to go to, and I had all of the kiddos in tow. They were cool though, as long as I had enough quarters for the M&M’s vending machine. I got to catch up with some of my buddies too, so that always makes for a great morning.
After the kick-off we had a birthday party to go to, and it was really fun. It was held at community center/ fire station. The boys were thrilled to get to see some fire trucks, and enjoy some cake and pizza too.
I’m ready to call it a day though, but there is still dinner to be made and three kiddos to take care of. We’ll see what tomorrow brings our way.

It took 2 days and one awesome helper, but we finally got all of the Christmas Cookies finished.

Stacey-cakes and I ended up making 479 cookies! It was so much fun too, but I don’t think I want to bake cookies again for a long time.

We moved all of the cookies into the dining room to assemble the plates and trays. The kiddos had fun hanging out in the living room, and snagging a few cookies too.

Even James couldn’t resist the cookies.

We assembled 20 plates, 4 trays, and we both had a few left over for our families too. It was a blast baking Christmas cookies with my best buddy.

Kicking Off The Holiday Season
Every year we like to attend the local Christmas Parade, no matter what the weather is.

This year the weather was cold, but luckily it wasn’t snowing during the parade.

We met up with my best friend Stacey, and her kiddos.

Our kiddos sat together, and waited patiently for the parade to begin.
There were lots of floats, but me and my trusty camera were having lighting issues, so I didn’t get as many pictures as I had wanted too.

The Christmas Parade was a ton of fun, and all of the kids came home with a bunch of candy too. The kids are definitely ready for Christmas to get here.
