Christmas Cookie Baking part 3
It took 2 days and one awesome helper, but we finally got all of the Christmas Cookies finished.

Stacey-cakes and I ended up making 479 cookies! It was so much fun too, but I don’t think I want to bake cookies again for a long time.

We moved all of the cookies into the dining room to assemble the plates and trays. The kiddos had fun hanging out in the living room, and snagging a few cookies too.

Even James couldn’t resist the cookies.

We assembled 20 plates, 4 trays, and we both had a few left over for our families too. It was a blast baking Christmas cookies with my best buddy.

Christmas Cookie Baking part 2
I started early this morning right after I dropped Thade off at school, and I just finished at 9:00 p.m. this evening. I have been baking cookies all day, and I’m not even close to being done.

If you counted them all up there are 295 cookies in this picture. So far I’ve finished the Wedding Cake Cookies, Thade’s Super-Awesome Double Chocolate Cookies, Candy Bar Cookies, Chocolate Oatmeal No-Bakes, and a big batch of Peanut Clusters.
Tomorrow my cookie baking buddy Stacey-cakes is coming over to help me finish up the rest of the cookie menu. We’ll be baking Snickerdoodles, and James Favorite Oatmeal cookies, and plating all of the goodies for delivery on Thursday and Friday.
I think I’m going to call it a night, and get the kitchen back in order.

The next two days Nico’s kitchen is officially open for business… Well Christmas Cookie baking business. I am getting together with my best friend and baker Stacey-cakes and we are working on about 54-58 dozen cookies, to give out. It is going to be fun, and there will be more cookies to bake next week too, I’ve got to bake some goodies for my family and in-laws.

Here is the cookie plan (so far):
- Wedding Cake Cookies-12 dozen
- Thade’s Super Awesome Double Chocolate Cookies-6 dozen
- Peanut Clusters-4 dozen
- Snickerdoodles-6 dozen
- James’ Favorite Oatmeal Cookies-6 dozen
- Chocolate Oatmeal No Bakes-12 dozen
- Candy Bar Cookies-12 dozen

I’m hoping that Stacey will bring along some of her famous Coconut Bon-bons too add to the list. They are too good, and Dylan is hooked on them. I’m also baking an Apricot Bundt Cake for my dear friend Angela, and I just found out that Thade needs cookies for the Christmas party on Monday. It looks like Nico’s kitchen is going to be busy for the next few weeks.

As promised there are even more cookies coming out of the kitchen today. Tomorrow is our MOPS Christmas meeting. There is a big breakfast, present exchange, and a cookie exchange too. So I needed to make cookies for the cookie exchange, and a little something for breakfast. Everyone is bringing breakfast tomorrow, so I decided to make one more batch of peanut clusters.

At the MOPS meeting we are also putting together cookie trays for the nursery workers. They work so hard at every meeting to give us moms a much needed break.I know they will appreciate the sweet treats as much as we appreciate their help.

I made up a batch of Candy Bar Cookies for the exchange. These are my most requested cookie that I bake, and one of Dylan’s favorites too. I only needed two dozen, so there were plenty left over for my family.
