From The Garden

The Snow Peas are doing well.

and they are super tasty too.

We have sweet corn sprouting up too.

And a few Okra plants too.

I planted extra Green bean plants this year. I hope to get a better crop than last year.

How is your garden growing?

How I wish I could grow tropical flowers in the Midwest…

And Palm Trees too.

A sandy beach view from my backyard would be really nice.

I snapped this one in the middle of the day, there was plenty of shade under this big tree.

The Palms are just too beautiful.

There were also tropical blooms in so many gorgeous colors.

Bright red.

And Sunny Yellow.

These trees lined our favorite park…

These beautiful blooms lined a rooftop.

The park was amazing, full of palm trees and succulents too.

Large blossoms…

And teeny-tiny ones.

Exotic succulents.

And a beautiful waterfall view…
If only this could be my garden.

One more cloudy day, and that means cooler temps. This time we headed out to the walking track that is at the local college. It is a great 1/2 mile track with a nice paved path, and plenty of benches for the kiddos to rest at too.

Dylan was ready to go!

Thade decided that he wanted to jog most of the way. He is super ambitious.

The Little Miss was happily hanging out in the little stroller, even though tooth #3 was bugging her.

The view from the track was pretty, and we looked and looked for turtles as we walked by.

I think the kiddos stopped for a rest at every bench they saw.

We made our way back to the start. I’m hoping for a few more cool days so we can go again.
