Painting in Progress

Here is my hubby putting the first coat of Teaberry Pink paint on the walls! I am so excited! He even let the boy’s help out a bit too.

Just in case you are wondering what he is painting over it is three shades of midnight blue. The previous owners of the house had a “space themed” bedroom for their sons, and now the walls are switching over to pretty pink. James has his work cut out for him, but I really appreciate all of his hard work on the nursery.

Thanks Marva! The kiddos were so excited to help dad out with the painting, and they were really proud of the work that they did on their sister’s room. Dylan talked about painting all day ;) I’m anxious to get the room together and finished. Now I just have to find some fabric and get the curtains done too.

Thanks Mimi! I love love love Hello Kitty! I was looking at Hello Kitty fabric online, and I found some Hello Kitty ribbon that I have to do something with ;) It is going to be fun to decorate in girly colors ;)

Poor James! That is a really dark color to have to paint over. The pink shade sounds so girly- I love it! Any certain kind of diapers you prefer? I’d love to send you coupons when I have them!

Thanks Heather! You are too sweet :) I really appreciated the sweet card and the coupons in the mail too. You made my day :) I use Luv’s, Huggies, and Walgreens brand too. I love to stock up on the Walgreens diapers whenever they go on sale.

You should have seen the nursery before, it was really different. The pink made the nursery bright and cheerful!
