Just A Week Until the 4th of July

Yesterday Thade exclaimed that he doesn’t like fireworks, and that’s when I realized that the 4th of July is just around the corner. Then I looked at the calendar, and oh no, it is just 7 days until the 4th of July, and I am so not ready!?! I had better get my house in order, and get to planning a 4th of July BBQ menu for the guests.
What about you… Do you have plans for the 4th of July? Are you hosting a BBQ or bringing along a tasty dish to a 4th of July gathering?

We are going to be in nothern California, hopefully having a nice and simple 4th. Maybe some hot dogs,chips,and potato salad for the 4th and we’ll watch the local fireworks.
When does the fun begin at your house? I am trying to figure the 4th out since my changing weekends of course happens to fall on the 3/4.(Insert many expletives here!) Let me know what I can do to help!
We are hoping to head out of town for the day. There are several places fairly close by where they filmed “Twilight” and we are thinking about taking the girls and making a whole day of it
