Indoor Day Camp
The kids were up bright and early this morning, 6:15 a.m. at least, and Thade was anxious to get to Day Camp. By 7:30 a.m. there was a call saying that Day Camp had been canceled to high water at the park, so I’ve re-instituted indoor Day Camp for Thade, and Dylan gets to play along too.

Today’s indoor day camp project is to make wrapping paper for Father’s Day gifts for Dad.

The kids each have a gift for Dad, and they enjoyed customizing their special wrapping paper.
Indoor Day Camp wasn’t without snacks either, Dad brought us home Donut Holes, Maple Long Johns, and Sausage RollsĀ from one of our favorite shops, and it was so good. Now what to do with the rest of the day…

Sorry about the rainout. But it looks like both boys are having a great time. What a wonderful idea to entertain them and bring out their creative side. James will love the one of a kind wrapping paper that his Father’s day presents are wrapped in.
James is awesome! Those sausage rolls sound good. Your kiddos have had a more cool day than mine. I think they are suffering from withdrawals from your house!
Thanks Nana! Thade was a little bummed that there wasn’t Day Camp today, but I was happy that the parks service was looking out for the kiddos safety
Thanks Stacey! James pretty much rules, and he spoils me rotten
The kiddos were excited to have donuts today too
Give your kids big hugs from me!!!!
It looks like the good old days at my house. I sure do miss them! The kids look so happy and so darned cute. Were the sausage rolls called kalachis? I’d kill for one right now. James is a great guy!

Thanks Mimi! Thade was a little bummed about day camp being canceled, but both kiddos had fun working on a project for Dad
I hope that your kids are doing well too and enjoying their Summer!
I’ll have to review the Sausage Rolls on my blog. I think they might be a regional treat. Ever since we moved to SE KS you see Sausage Rolls at the Donut Shops, they are so tasty
