Homebaked Goodies for Rob

March 2nd, 2009

I like to bake my Brother a pie or cake for his birthday, and this year I decided to bake an Apricot Pie.

I made Apricot filling from scratch, and rolled out some homemade pie crust. I like to decorate my pies, so I gathered up a few cookie cutters to make the top crust.

I love how this pie turned out, and James has even requested a “James Pie” too. Now I just hope the birthday boy likes it.

Thanks Marva! I loved how the Apricot Pie turned out, and Rob even shared a bit with us. Apricot Pie is one of my favorites :) I guess I had better work on a “James Pie” soon though…

Thanks Heather! Rob is an awesome brother and fantastic Uncle too. I had just a few presents for him, and he really liked the pie too. I think it is cool because he always asks for a Birthday Pie instead of a Birthday cake ;)
