Very nice selection for your butterfly garden. I am glad to see you are planting host plants as well for the caterpillars. It is a lot of fun growing from seeds. I just started planting some of my seeds indoors to get an early start for the plants. I am using the Jiffy Profession Greenhouse with 72 peat pellets (<$10) and fluorescent light bulbs. If you are interested in tips on how to grow plants from seed indoors, you might want to checkout my website. Thanks for sharing and good luck with your butterfly garden!

Thanks Nana! We are so ready to garden over here. I just need to call Dig Rite, and make sure that it is safe to garden at the new location. Keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks Stacey! I can't wait to see what you are planting too. Have fun starting your seeds too. I'm so anxious for Spring, and getting some homegrown veggies out of the garden. Happy Gardening!

Thanks Marva! Your garden and Farm sounds amazing!!! I bet your Orchard is so pretty in the Spring too. Thanks for the tip on planting pumpkins too. I was wondering when to plant for Halloween. I think it would be really cook if we had our own pumpkins this year.

Wishing you all the best this planting season and Happy Gardening too :) Sending big hugs your way!

Those are wondeful selections Nicole! I love the idea of a butterfly garden too.

We are planting tomatoes (roma, celebrity, grape, beefstake, cherokee purple, brandywine and so on so forth). There are also several different varieties of yellow squash, cantaloupes, watermelons, okra, peppers (hot and sweet),cauliflower, brocolli, zuchini, cabbage, pickling and slicing cucumbers ans so on so forth. We usually plant next month (some of it and the rest in April).

We plant three different plantings. We wait and plant pumpkins around the 4th of July, so they are ready for fall (Halloween).

We have about 10 acres that we plant and work. that's besides the cows, 40,000 peach trees and all of the other fruits that we have. I love farm life!!!!

The gardens sound excellent and I can't wait to see pictures! Keep us posted! Blessings!
