Finally, I Get To Make a Dress

This month I have had a few cool sewing gigs come my way, so my sewing machine has been extra busy. Last week a friend asked me if I would help create a dress inspired by Miss Patty Cake for her daughter who is turning 5. I thought the outfit sounded like a lot of fun to sew, and I finally get to make a dress.

Once the pattern was just right, I spent about 3 days working on the dress, when Dylan would take his afternoon nap. Once the dress was finished I couldn’t stop there, it needed something else.

I made a little purse too. I think that with a super cute dress, you just have to have a bag that matches.

    Thanks Susan! I was so happy to get to finally make a dress, I always love seeing all of the dresses that you make for your little girl :) I think that the tote turned out so cute, and she was thrilled to have a new hand-bag to carry :)
