Checking out a MOPS meeting

September 5th, 2008

Tomorrow while Thade is busy at Preschool Dylan and I will be going to our first MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meeting. I hope that the meeting will be fun, and I hope that Dylan has a great time getting to meet other toddlers. Our local group meets every First and Third Friday during the School year, and they even serve a tasty breakfast for the Mommies. I think it will be a fun outing for the little guy and me too.

    Have fun today, Nicole! I am so happy you are doing something special for you. You do everything for your family, it’s good to reward yourself. Enjoy and have fun. Can’t wait to hear all about it.

    I loved MOPS. We had playdates at the park, stroller walks at malls, lunch and playdates at McD’s & BK, and craft nights with and without the kiddos. We also had a monthly moms night out, and a 1x weekly free daycare at a local church for moms and we took turns w/ the babysitting duties. FUN for moms and kids. I know you’ll have a a great time!

    Nicole that picture of you is so pretty and those flowers are beautiful. Have fun going to the MOPS gives you a chance to interact with other mommies outside of the home

    Thanks Nana! I think that the meeting will be lots of fun, and it will be nice to meet some new people. I have had a hard time making friends since our last move, and I hope that this will be a great opportunity for all of us :) Thanks for all of the support too. Big hugs!

    Thanks Mimi! Wow, I bet your MOPS group was so much fun!!! All of the activities sound great too, I could definitely use a Mom’s night out ;) Thank you for sharing all of the MOPS information with me.

    Thanks Vicky! You are too sweet :) I think that the MOPS group will be a great way to meet other Mommies too. Since I’m at home, I’ve had quite a time getting out there and meeting people.
