Grocery Totes from Nico’s
Yahoo my camera is back, and I’m back to sewing too. I’ve been making Reusable Grocery Totes, and I hope to get a few more made this week. They are super fun to sew, but now I’m in need of more fabric
Me and the Sewing Machine
Well I put aside a few chores today, and spent a little quality time with my neglected sewing machine. I decided to set up shop in the utility room, in hopes that I could sew while Dylan was napping, and it worked
Thade wanted to help too, so I put him in charge of the pedal and keeping the kitties off of my project. He did really well, and has excellent foot control.
I wanted to sew a few reusable grocery bags, and I managed to get 2 1/2 finished today. I still need to sew the handles on one of them. I’m hoping to get to it this evening, but most likely it will be tomorrow before Dylan will let me sew again. I have a few more projects that I would love to start and finish too. I still need to make 3 curtains for the dining room, and finish the laundry organizer. Maybe I’ll make another grocery bag or two
Friday Fun and Time Wasters
Since its a long weekend, I thought I would share a few of my favorite online time wasters. First off is my All Time Favorite site to spend way too much time on (I’ve been playing there for 9 years) Pogo. I love love love this site : ) I enjoy playing the games Poppit, Sweet Tooth, and Tumble Bees too. This site is so much fun, but oh so addictive.
Up next is a new found favorite icanhascheezburger. You can view or upload you favorite lol kitties : ) This site is too fun, and who doesn’t love adorable and hilarious kitties ; )
Finally a super cool James suggestion, and a favorite of mine too… StumbleUpon. A quick download of their toolbar and you are well on your way to stumbling new sites, blogs, and so much more. This site is great and it is like channel surfing on the internet. I’ve found so many great blogs to read by using StumbleUpon : )
Do you have any favorite sites or Time Wasters?

Last night was Thade’s first T-Ball game and it was a blast. Thade did pretty good too. He had fun batting, catching, and throwing the ball back to the coach. I think he even made a friend or two. It looks like it is going to be a great but busy T-Ball season. Practices are on Tuesday evenings and the games are on Wednesday evenings, so we will be out and about a lot.
Are your kids playing any sports this Summer?
