Off to K.C.
May 17th, 2008
This morning I woke up at 6:00 a.m. ready to start the day. Today we are going to visit my brother Rob in K.C., and I can’t wait to get on the road. Thade is super excited too, and I bet Dylan will be once we get in the car, he loves to ride 
Yesterday I spent the day making Chocolate Chip Cookies and Chex Mix to take to Rob, as a peace offering, just in case his nephews trash his apartment. I also thought that it would make tasty Road Trip snacks for Nana and me too…
I still have so much to get done this morning, and the car to pack, but I’m super excited!

Thanks Susan! I love to go and visit my Brother, he lives in Kansas City, and it is just such a cool place. It is a bit of a drive, but well worth the trip! Hope you are having a great weekend!

Wow! What a trip! Thank you so much for driving! Sorry your navigator didn’t do so well. Darn those orange barrels and detour signs. Ding, ding, ding (inside joke). I had a wonderful day. I hope that you and Thade are feeling much better today. Rob and KC Rock! So happy we finally made it up there to see Rob. Really impressed with your little travelers, both Thade and Dylan did great in the car. We will do this again whenever you are ready for another road trip. Love, Nana

Thade is still sick this morning, so it looks like another day of non-stop cleaning ahead of me…
