Oh Hail NO!

Wow this has been one day of wacky weather. This afternoon the sun was shining bright, and all of the sudden there was a very loud sound on the roof, it was hailing! Thade ran to the door, and we watched the hail hit against the cars. When the storm had passed I ran out to collect a few of the marble sized hail, and let Thade check them out.
This evening it has been severe storm warnings, and tornado watches. Around 4 tornadoes touched down about an hour and a half south of us and the storms did major damage. We still have some awfully high winds this evening. I hope that the bad weather stays away, and so do those tornadoes!

Wow, I didn’t know your area had so much bad weather!
Thanks Mimi! During the Spring and into the Summer it is tornado season, we get a lot of severe thunderstorms, and occasionally a tornado. Every year I look forward to the warm Spring weather, but not those awful storms.
Wow,that is some scary weather! I’ve never lived anywhere where tornados are…..we get a big thunderstorm every once in a while, but nothing like the MidWest…..stay safe! Ellie…..oh, love the title of this post….hee hee

We get some scary Spring weather around here, and it is just the start of the Tornado season. I just hope we don’t see too many bad storms this season.
