Sewing Project

January 3rd, 2008

I know that Christmas is all done for this year, but that isn’t stopping me from getting a jump start on a project for next year’s Christmas Tree.

I have a few yards of Christmas themed material left over from the holidays, so I’m going to start working on a Patchwork Tree Skirt for next year. I’ll be cutting and sewing while Dylan is napping, so I’m hoping he takes a good nap for Mommy :)   I can’t wait to get started!

Thanks Marva! I love to sew, but Dylan isn’t a big fan of the sewing machine, too noisy. I also like to Cross Stitch little projects, but Dylan takes up just about all of my time in the evening, so no time to hand-sew. Maybe one day when he is sleeping through the night, I’ll be able to work on a few more projects :)

During my week of spring cleaning at Christmas, I found 4 yards of Nemo fabric. I think I’ll make a valance for the game room. Have fun with your priject1 I’m lucky, my 10 yr. old daughter is very ambitious and very crafty. She just loves to help, so it should be a breeze.
