Back to Housework

March 9th, 2006

It is a cold and rainy day outside. Thade and I have already run to the store, post office, visited daddy at work, and picked up the dry cleaning, all before lunch time. I got him in the house, and then I had the pleasure of unloading the car just as the rain started. Oh well, we got lunch, and I’m just now getting started on today’s laundry, it is only noon and I’m beat. Guess I should get going, hubby will be coming home soon, and I need to figure out what to make him for lunch.

Windy Weather

March 9th, 2006

Well I survived my doctor’s visit yesterday, fun stuff. I shouldn’t have to go back for another year(fingers crossed). We went out to lunch today, and it was super yummy. I ate way too much, but it was well worth it. The weather is so windy here today, and we are under a tornado watch for the next 2 hours. Ah springtime in Kansas, this is the first of many watches and warnings. The rain would be nice, but the rest of the bad weather I can live without.

My turn at the Doctor’s office

March 7th, 2006

Today I have a Doctor’s appointment. Yuck, I really don’t want to go, but I have to. I’m nervous and I don’t know why. I just kinda dread going. My doctor is great, but having to go for a yearly visit isn’t that great. I wish that I was getting to go out and do something more fun. My hubby is coming home early to watch the little guy, so I know that they will have fun together. Thade has been begging me to get out of the house this morning, we got all of our errands run yesterday. Five errands in 60 minutes, that’s pretty good for us.

Nap Time

March 6th, 2006

Thade is finally down for a nap, the house is so quiet right now. I’m almost caught up on all my housework, and once he is up, we’ll get out and run a few errands. The weather is so nice today, and my car really needs gas, and a wash.
We went to visit my mom and brother on Saturday, and we had lots of fun. We shopped a lot, and I got Thade some really cute spring clothes. Thade was pretty good for most of the day, but by the sixth stop he was really tired. It was good to get him(and me) out of the house.
